(Makes 32 puffs)
What you will need:
1 4-packs of Pillsbury Cresent Rolls (32 Cresent rolls total)
2 Cups of Our ‘Signature’ Baked Chicken™ (recipe may be found under Lou's Approved 'TKO'™ Seasoning Salt Recipes)
9 Slices cooked bacon (we suggest cooking it crisp)
1 Cup shredded Swiss
1 Cup of Our ‘Signature’ Honey Mustard
To make the filling:
Finely dice the bacon strips and baked chicken (the dice should be about the size of small chocolate chips).
In a mixing bowl, add the diced chicken, diced bacon, shredded cheese and honey mustard. Mix well.
To assemble and bake the puffs:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray 2 large baking sheets with cooking spray
Open the Cresent roll packages and separate into the precut triangles. Place each triangle with the tip of the triangle pointing away from you.
Add approximately 1 tbs. of the mixture to the bottom of the triangle base and spread it evenly along the edge. Keep approximately ¼ inch away from the triangle tips.
Fold each of the bottom corners in and roll from the mixture edge to the triangle tip. When rolled, make sure that the ends cover the filling completely. You may need to play with the dough to seal them.
Place the completed puffs on the baking sheets in a four row by four column configuration (16 each pan.).
Place pans in the preheated oven for the time specified on the package, or until the top of the puffs are golden brown. Since the filling also need to be heated, don’t be shocked if you need to leave them in for an additional few minutes.
Remove the tray from the oven and place the puffs on a serving tray. We suggest serving with a bowl of Our ‘Signature’ Honey Mustard for dipping, but no matter how hard they may beg, don’t let anyone double dip!
